Welcome to MrBrown Box. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application, website, and delivery platform (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MrBrown Box provides a technology platform that connects customers seeking delivery and hauling services with independent riders who provide those services. We act as an intermediary and do not directly provide delivery services. Riders are independent contractors, not employees of MrBrown Box.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to transport illegal items
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Harass, threaten, or harm riders, customers, or staff
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
• Use automated means to access the Service without our permission
• Post false reviews, ratings, or misleading information

5. Payments & Pricing

• Delivery fees are calculated based on distance, vehicle type, package details, and demand at the time of booking.
• Prices are displayed before you confirm an order. By confirming, you agree to pay the stated amount.
• Payment may be made via wallet balance, credit/debit card, or cash on delivery where available.
• We reserve the right to modify our pricing structure at any time with notice.
• Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to the name, logo, text, graphics, software, and design — are owned by MrBrown Box and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MrBrown Box shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MrBrown Box, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lagos, Nigeria.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through the Service or via email. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
